KYLITF introduces young people—especially those from underprivileged communities—to the fundamentals of golf while teaching the life lessons that come with it: integrity, focus, accountability, and resilience.
Keep Your Life in the Fairway (KYLITF) uses the game of golf as a powerful teaching tool to instill discipline, confidence, and strong decision-making in youth, particularly those from underprivileged communities. Our program connects what happens on the course to real-life choices, helping young people stay on a positive path, avoid life’s “rough,” and build a future grounded in purpose, opportunity, and success. It’s a movement focused on shaping lives.
In golf, staying in the fairway makes your next shot clearer, easier, and more predictable. The same is true in life. “Keep your life in the fairway” means making disciplined, intentional choices that keep you on a positive path. It helps create clarity, purpose, and momentum while avoiding unnecessary setbacks.
When you drift into the “rough” through poor decisions, negative influences, or destructive environments, it becomes harder to see clearly, stay in control, and recover.
KYLITF teaches that while no one plays a perfect round, the goal is to make choices that keep you as close to the fairway as possible.
Introducing youth to a sport and network that may otherwise feel out of reach.
Surrounding youth with mentors & role models who care.
Teaching focus, respect, accountability and better decision-making skills.
KYLITF events are structured, engaging experiences where participants rotate through golf stations like driving, chipping, and putting while mentors connect each lesson back to real-life principles like discipline, decision-making and accountability.
